What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

DR14 t.meter a DR meter for Linux

Post by bred »

Hi.

I've written a DR meter for Linux based on the procedure used by the Pleasurize music foundation: http://www.pleasurizemusic.com/
My tool returns always an identical result respect to the one produced by the official meter released by Pleasurize music foundation!

A tool like this is useful for the musician for understanding how loud are their tracks and for the listener for understanding the so called loudness war

Visit the webpage for more infos ....
DR14 Tmeter page

And github:
https://github.com/simon-r/dr14_t.meter

The application is written in Python and it works correctely under Ubuntu Fedora Arch Debian ...

If you have suggestions or requests don't hesitate do it.

The resultings files are compatibles with the unofficial DR database: http://www.dr.loudness-war.info/
