Hey, same story here!

I'm into "hi-tech" music (the original electronic music, but the "electronic music" name is so spoiled with bad music that calls itself "electronic" that we deceided to change the name).

I only tried to do music on Linux one time, and failed miserably, I've not tried again, I've been developing a DSP that moves everything outside your head. I'm also very-long-time Linux user, but I had not worked with audio since my Windows days, I'm more into domotics/control electronics than audio.

To top it off - we're not all that far, I'm in Juarez, Mexico... A few km from Texas :D

Hope you stay around

I like Lmms for electronic stuff. Seems to work well enough for me, but then again, I mainly use "real" instruments instead of software instruments, so my experience is not that extensive.
