iz,
Thanks for the link, this is like Christmas! If you create a torrent, post the link and I'll seed too. Hooray, indeed!

EDIT: I got total boot failure in Virtualbox and LiveDVD mode . . . anyone else have success booting the ISO?

Sorry, I didn't think it even showed up in sourceforge until it was all there. Thought 1.1G seemed a little small  My bad. I didn't even test it, it was so late when I finished I just thought I'd help save people from the 40k/s download

I'd love to. Seems to be a problem with sourceforge however. Everytime I click the link on the iso to download it, it takes me in a loop back to the main kxstudio sourceforge page. Once I can get my hands on it, and get through the likely slow download I'll get the torrent with checksum going! (Sorry again about the confusion earlier)

EDIT:Yup, and it's only that file. I can download all the rest of the files in the project no problem. Maybe it needs some time to finalize on the server?

When it finalizes, maybe you should start a new thread(maybe even stickey it) about the release, and I'll post there. So you have better visibility on the board!

P.S. Learning a lot about sourceforge. Can download something before it's done uploading, but not imidiately after it's done. Interesting...

And now the regular sourceforge link is coming at quite a surprising speed!

So, am I to understand that this is it? In other words, there will not be any new version of this but all updates from here will delivered via general software updates in the system using either this ISO or the repositories?

I'm inclined to try installing this on an external drive just to have a test system and then decide whether I want to still wait for Mint KDE 13 or not.

But I'm in no rush. So is there any benefit to waiting to test, or is it more that I'll be helping more as a tester if I try it now?

Got the iso. Done basic testing, and it works great! Here's the torrent just as falkTX asked for

EDIT:ISO torrent has been removed due to install issues. Will return when fixed!

Thanks. And by "it" I meant there won't be another ISO, right? As in: this ISO is the ISO and from here on installing KXStudio means either the repositories over an Ubuntu-variant installation or this ISO plus pull the updates. Yes? Or will there actually be a new version of the ISO ever?
