This is just a heads up. I am very impressed with how well Wine 1.4 works will all my software. My programs that never worked, work out of the box now. My windows audio software is working just the way I want it to. That being said, I came accross this in the 1.4 changelog.

The Jack, NAS, AudioIO, and ESD audio subsystems are no longer
supported. Version 3 of the OSS subsystem is no longer supported
either, version 4 is required.

Doesn't effect me in any way, but this may for you!
