Hello, my name is Gerard (aka Yeri) and I am from Tarragona a province in Catalonia at the north of Spain.
I am building my own home studio with Ubuntu Studio. I've spent 8 or 9 years as a linux user but I am a newbie in linux audio.
I found this site through a message posted in the ubuntu-studio-users mailing list.
I mainly play drums and I've played in two or three punk-hc bands.. Nowadays I still play in one.
As a personal project I intend to do some music creation. I have an electric drum and I intend to create my own music with the variety of midi resources that linux offers. While I intend to use my e-drum to create the rythmic parts, I will use a software editor for the melodic ones for the moment. In the near future I plan to incorporate a midi keyboard.
