Can't access Zoom HD8 hard drive from linux
I have a Zoom HD8 8-track recorder that I use a lot. I can access it's hard drive from within windows but not my Ubuntu 11.04 laptop. It essentially functions as a USB hard drive in this respect. I can connect portable usb drives to my linux laptop no problem from the same port. I was able to access it with previous versions of ubuntu. I just don't get what's (not)going on. any troubleshooting ideas?

Hi,
Try disconnecting and connecting it again and let's see what these commands say:
dmesg | tail -n30
sudo fdisk -l
Cheers, Pablo
