Hello,
Once again i am a newcomer when it comes to Linux/Ubuntu. I am currently running Ubuntu Studio 11.04 and previously to that i was running Ubuntu 11.04. The M-audio Axiom 25 would not work (not recognized) in either distro. It was not working in Ubuntu 11.04, i recently switched to studio and plugged it in hoping it would work. I have been searching for a month or so now and everything i come across says it is plug and play, however, it is not for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You have to open a terminal:
Applications -> Accesories -> Terminal
Or use the keyboard shortcut [Ctrl-Alt-T]
Then you paste these commands to the prompt and paste here the outputs.
If you are used to [Ctrl-C]/[Ctrl-V], you must use [Ctrl-Shift-C] / [Ctrl-Shift-V] inside the terminal. Of course, you can always use the mouse. There is the right click but "select and drop" is faster if you have a three button mouse. Just select the text, point to another editing field (the terminal or this board) and drop it with the middle click.
Whatever, be patient.
Cheers, Pablo
