Nothing personal, but I think this comment applies to yours more than l0wt3ch we think. The character that is chosen for yours looks to middle school to us, where as the last ones by l0wt3ch looks more "solid"...more "pro"...

I think the opposite...
Only birds fly first class
Archlinux on desktop pc.
Does anyone know how to make a poll so we could vote for the different versions proposed ?
It is a shame that work has been done to create a decent logo and that we don't use it.
Let the democracy decide !
FWIW I've told the artist to work on two more ideas. At least one of them may appeal to the ones who didn't like the last ones I put up. Give me (and anyone else who wants to contribute) some time...and then lets have a poll. I've been thinking...that we should make a new skin too...

I like the posted logos but I think any linux musicians logo should have a rock and roll tux like take one of doosC's logos and change tux to have him with long hair and sunglasses and if it's not to taboo these days smoking a ciggerette.
And because open source is part of the linux world here is the inkscape svg file containing the 3 logos (the font is http://www.dafont.com/fr/distracted-musician.font) in case you want to mess them up
My second idea has been delivered. This is for those wanting a more rock kinda feel. I distinctly avoided explicit images of women/alcohol, because it might deter certain sections of the crowd - instead, I just tried to make it look like a neon bar sign - which simultaneously implies rock and jazz, as well as a 'watering hole where Linux-audio-users gather'
It seems the forum does not allow one to upload images of more than ~200 kb as attachments...was forced to use Google Docs again. Hoping it works.
