Open Source Guitar Synth

Anyone has thought about porting this greate open source guitar synth to native linux?

I bought the synth before it went open source and it is great. One of the best guitar software instruments and it sounds more natural than many sample based software.

It works well using wine, but it would be great to have a native version and some improvements (showing the chord being played, maybe some built in midi patterns, etc).
