Is anyone using one of these on Linux? Someone I know is selling one and I wondered if it was worth buying. I'm looking for something to plug my guitar into and some other line-level kit, but mostly recording one at a time. If I can use the effects as well that would be a bonus.
I've seen this project seems to be active

Hi Steve
In theory yes it should work. The newer kernels have the driver in the repository, just install and off you go.
Just google, put this in the search box --site:ubuntuforums.org line6usb ux2 toneport (or whatever)
I've got a ux1 which I can't get to work, i'm going to sell it.
Hope this helps
Tim

Ha Line6 Ux2 does work in linux recording and play back I would recommend using the QasMixer with it . with the qasmixer you can select dif inputs . outputs are not accessible like meter output monitoring etc .
