Terratec X24 firewire not working

Hi,

I don't know how I can get the x24 soundcard working, in FFADO it says that it is fully supported but I tried with normal Ubuntu and now Ubuntu Studio and no soundcard shows up in Hardware, there is no sound at all.
There is no real guide to what I should do, this is all very confusing, so maybe someone can help me step by step what I can do??
