how to make an hydrogen drumkit?

Hi,

I know how I can make a hydrogen drumkit, check howto's. But how do I make a good hydrogen drumkit?
Layered? how?
gain, pitch, fine?

Attack, decay, sustain, release???

cutoff , resonance?

random pitch?

get the latest svn. It now has a filebrowser and an auto velocity so your layers will be set up the right way. All the other stuff like gain, cut off, etc... I leave alone. I like the samples raw then fix them you in Ardour with eq, comp, etc...
