Does it matter in which country our forum is located? How does it work? Which rules are applied to us? Which privacy rights and which copyright rights?

We are now set in the USA isn't it? Is is better to have a website like this forum in the USA or Europe or in a specific part or country in the world concerning privacy rights and copyrights?

What do you think?

I would say that applicable laws for each work should be that of the country of origin.
