I'm searching for a gig or soundfont with an electric guitar. Distorted and clean....

Added a 'free sound data' section to the wiki where we can collect links to sites with soundfonts and the like:

Ah nice. Your first idea was to post it in sections sorted by instrument isn't it? I think that will be better....
Or sorted by file type and instrument will be better better...

And what is free? The jazzpage is not for commercial usage...

I don't think I really had a plan - feel free to improve the page any way you feel fits.
And what is free? The jazzpage is not for commercial usage...
Added a small clarification: I think any files that are free in *any* sense of the word deserve a mention, but I agree perhaps we should add warnings if sites contain partially-free data.
