Good tutorial on how to configure jack.

I am trying to get JACK started, but it is not going anywhere. I installed it, then it did not work. I tryd all of the changes provided in the link but they did not help eather. When i try to launch JACK i get this:

This means nothing to me, i have no clue of what it is about but can someone help me?
