Must see! ;)

And these distros are totally 'free' in GNU terms:

Dynebolic, a GNU/Linux distribution that places special emphasis on audio and video editing.

Musix GNU+Linux, a GNU+Linux distribution based on Knoppix, with special emphasis on audio production.

Maybe we should make one?

Of course the movie itself would suck big time, but you have to admit that the soundtrack would be quite the soundtrack

But I'm serious about the "maybe we should make something"... I mean, at least I am bragging all the time about how advanced is open-source software, and a lot of people is making demos, but one thing is to just make demos and another thing is to make an actual collective production to show off the power of FOSS (both on media production, as used to make the movie, and on the movie's content which would be strong on it's own right)

Yes it is, we would need some massive cooperation.. But I think it could be possible. Most of Linux/FOSS is made out of massive cooperation (between hackers and enthusiasts) after all
