I have an m-audio 1814. I was very happy with it when I used windows. It doesn't appear to support linux though. There is some mention of it on the Freebob site but not any real support. Anyone else have one, or something similar that doesn't work under linux? Is it possible to maybe virtualize windows so I can run it? I can't afford to upgrade it to something else right now, so I'm willing to go to extreame hackin' measures to get it working. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't tried to set it up recently. It used to just use my windows laptop. Now that laptop is running Hardy Beta since I wanted to test out some other hardware on it that was giving me trouble in gutsy. I had tried using the Freebob drivers on a custom kernel in arch linux back in the day but had no luck. I have not tried JACK at all.

... I am not very knowledgeable in here but IIRC, freebob ONLY works with jack.
