Wow some development on ArtistX http://www.artistx.org/site2/
ArtistX 0.5 is based on the great Debian Live software for creating live cd's (http://debian-live.alioth.debian.org/) and includes the 2.6.25 Kernel, KDE 3.5, compiz 0.7.7 and about 2500 free multimedia software, nearly everything that exists for the GNU/Linux operating system.
It's based on Debian SID and has KDE, very interesting!!
EDIT: is doesn't have a real time kernel... :/ !?!?
