Novation Xio Synth?

Post by kokoshmusun »

Hi,
Has anyone used the Novation Xio Synth with a linux distro? I'm seriously interested in it for a live performance rig but need to be sure that it works well with linux.
Much appreciated.

Xio is class compliant, so no drivers are required for Windows XP or Mac OSX (although some are provided to improve performance on PCs).
So should work out of the box. The onboard USB soundcard might need some configuring though I reckon.

Best,

I just bought it a week ago, and works perfectly: both as sound card, and as midi interface.

All this on a ubuntu 10.10, but all other distros should work the same.
