Hi guys,
Just a heads up for you on this particular amplifier in case you or someone you know happen to own one.
Check out the youtube video:

The end result is to be a full GUI-app that replaces FUSE (only available on Win/Mac).
If you "feel dependant" on this project, please let me know.

Re: Fender G-DEC3 driver/software is under progress
Hi again People & Peoplettes!
A small update is that I created a Trac-project where it will be possible to follow the progress.
As of now, you can only browse the Tickets and see what's in the pipe. I will soon add the
possibility of registering so that you can create tickets to request functionality.
And finally of course, I will publish the driver/software + source code there eventually..

Looks like a cool project. I don't have a use for it myself though, as I don't use a guitar amplifier
.
I saw you're considering spending money on USB analyzer software. I'm not sure what you're looking for here, but it might be worth the effort to check out the tools at http://wiki.wireshark.org/Tools#USB_capture or run windows under VirtualBox and sniff the traffic from Linux as described at http://wiki.wireshark.org/CaptureSetup/USB

Thanks for the suggestion raboof.
That was however my first choice, and unfortunately it didn't work out.
I tried installing Windows XP on virtualbox and do this, but for some reason the USB didn't work as expected (choppy, not enough bandwidth), and second, the FUSE software was barely up and running (a lot of people have problems with that).
And my Windows 7 installation that I do run FUSE on cannot be virtualboxalized as I cannot authenticate it (again).
Unfortunately as it is, there isn't plenty of free good software like Wireshark for Windows. The shareware that I use now is great, but I have about 10 days to finish the job....
