Hi everyone,
A big hello from East Northamptonshire!
I'm a bit of a Linux beginner but discovering it via the relatively friendly medium of Ubuntu (10.10, Maverick). I'd previously recorded with Cool Edit (Adobe Audition) in a limited fashion then discovered Audacity ported to Windows. Now, I've changed hardware and aim to understand packages like Ardour, mainly to try and be more "free" in recording my songs.
