audiofire 2 midi problem

Hi,

anyone here with a audiofire 2, who got midi working with it? I mean, via Midi cable? (via usb keyboard works here, via midi cable not).

Hello, what is it that doesn't work? Do the MIDI ports related to the AudioFire appear in QjackCtl/aconnect -io? If so did you do some test with tools like aseqdump or kmidimon?

WIth ffado2.01the midi device is showing up in Jackd and patchage. I will try those tools, thanks for the suggestion.

Clemens Ladisch just replied on LAU, and indeed aconnect won't show anything, not sure about kmidimon. Did you try exporting your MIDI devices with a2jmidid -e ?

There is also a j2amidi_bridge, I tried to connect the device via j2amidi_bridge and ajmidid -e to kmidimon. No input. There was input when using midi via usb.

And how do you have everything hooked up? What MIDI controller are you using? What does jack_lsp report with the audiofire connected?
