I use the Korg NanoControl under Ardour.
For some reason all Solo, Rec, Mute buttons have to be pressed twice to work. What do I need to do to make it work for one click?

What can be the solution?
The controller actually sends the signal twice and the ardor responds to every second click.

Re: The Korg NanoControl only responds to a double button press
I have some memory that the Korg NanoKontroler2 setup makes a distinction between "momentary" and "toggle" modes for some buttons. Perhaps a quick look through the manual for those terms would enlighten?
Re: The Korg NanoControl only responds to a double button press
CC, button behavior Toggle, "on value = 127" and "off value is 127"
If I set a button like this, it works for one press. But the lighting is not.
...
If so, then the lighting is fine:
CC, button behavior Toggle, "on value = 0" and "off value is 127"
...but you have to press the button twice.
That's my problem.

With on value 0 , and off value 127, it's no surprise you have to press twice. Try switching those values.
You can find out with aseqdump what values are sent every time you press a button.
You can use sendmidi (send midi messages with terminal commands) to find out if Ardour behaves as expected.

If with on value 127 , and off value 127, it's I have to press onece.
The led not working thistime -- this is my problem.

I use it, it gives exactly the values that the controller sends according to the settings.
If I set it to a single button press, the led does not light up.
If you press the button twice, the led also works.

Re: The Korg NanoControl only responds to a double button press
Then the led activity is bound to the value sent?
If you set the button to toggle between 127 and 0, with the led working correctly, then you can probably adjust some Ardour configuration for midi control so that 127-->record on, 0-->record off, etc.

I have no idea how to do this.
If there is an LED, the button also turns it on and off. (But only if I press it twice.)
I'm afraid it's a bug.

Do you have to press twice every time to change the LED status, or only the first time?
Is the LED switch controlled onboard, or via pc software?
Re: The Korg NanoControl only responds to a double button press
Every time.
The LED is switched on by the nano control. Its settings are configured by the accompanying program, it is produced by Korg, it has nothing to do with the DAW.
