Mamba 2.6 released

Mamba is a Virtual MIDI Keyboard, a 16 Channel Live MIDI Looper and a
(multi) MIDI File player for ALSA / Jack Audio Connection Kit
with a fluidsynth interface, supporting Scala Tuning and Keymap files.

Release v2.6:

  • Fix issue #53 Config created in home dir instead of XDG_CONFIG_HOME
  • Implement Looper Channel Control to select channels for mute/play
  • Implement loop file clip/clap controls
  • Implement Preload instruments on File load
  • Update libxputty to latest revision

Hi Tramp, not at home at the moment, so I tried this on the laptop running Ubuntu Studio 22.04. The build went cleanly and Mamba runs fine.

An excellent app that offers all sort of opportunities for quickly noting down ideas and listening to them immediately, without starting a larger, more hefty sequencer, and associated plugins.

Thanks for sharing! I'm off to play some more...

Yep, that's what I've made it for, doing some quick notations and playing along with them. :)
