This is the long overdone release for guitarix2 version 0.45.0
Guitarix is a modular, virtual amplifier for Linux.
With Guitarix you can choose different preamp and amp models
and /or could load *.nam files with the Neural Amp Modeler module,
to simulate a specific hardware unit.
Combine them with various effects and speaker cabinet emulations
and/or load your own Impulse Response files
to come up with your very own tones.
This release fix various bugs since the last release from May 2, 2022
It also introduce support for the outstanding Neural Amp Moduler
So easy to create a chain that sounds good to me. I lack an accurate frame of reference, but it's great fun. Looking forward to integrating some Neural models. Such amazing technology these days! Thanks for sharing years of work.

Indeed, the model list on ToneHunt is nearly endless.
And as while we are on it, I've now integrated support for RTNeural as well. So with the latest revision on github you could now load as well all the models from AIDA-X. That's especially incessant when you use older hardware, or, embed boards like a PI or a Orange. RTNeural have a very low DSP footprint.
Same as for NAM, I've implemented it Sample Rate independent, means, the stream would be converted to the expected Sample Rate of the loaded model to get the best out of it.

I hadn't heard of RTNeural. I was going to add a request to add Aida-X support, but when I looked up RTNeural, it appears that that's what RTNeural is!!!!!! Fantastic news!!!! This will be going automatically into Guitarix.vst as well, since Guitarix is wrapped, right? Thanks in advance!!!
Sorry if I'm barking up the wrong tree, would anyone know when Flathub would be updated with this as I'm guessing the quickest or only way to obtain this built would be there? First post by me btw, and using LMDE.

Yes, and it's done. Latest x86-64 Linux Binary build on the guitarix.vst project page comes with the RTNeural Network module implemented.

Wow, im very excited to check the Neural Amp Modeler module. Thanks!
I hope you'll enjoy it.
As a side note, there is no filtering implemented for the neural models, that means you may experience yourself with some of the guitarix filters to match you desired sound. That may be the need of a Low-pass filter (same of the AIDA-X models for high gain really need one, I often use one set to 5164Hz to avoid aliasing) over a bit of Equalisation and a IR-File to load.
To find the Neural's in the Guitarix vst3, open a new panel with a click of the + widget, select Distortion from the menu, and take your pick, as in the pick below. I copied Neural Amp gear to the Music folder it opened by default, and also made an 'Aida-amps' folder there, for the RT Neural gear. But the browser won't be picky where you want things.
I've found a couple of issues with the NAM module. The first one is cosmetic and not a big deal. When adding the NAM module while Guitarix is full screened, the NAM module takes up the whole screen, unlike other modules that stay at a narrower width.
The second issue is more of a problem, and it's that resampling is not working for me. NAM works at 48kHz, but if I set JACK to 44.1kHz, there is a noise frequency on the output.
@tramp thanks for replying to me first of all. I succesfully went through with building this myself (I'm not knowlegeable with this). It installed, runs, and shows it's version 0.45.0. However, I also attempted building a deb according to instructions and after completion it shows it's version 0.44.1. Since I'm not knowledgeable about what I'm doing, I tried building and creating a deb both according to the instructions on the project page by cloning and then by release page guitarix2-0.45.0.tar.xz file afterward. They both produced a deb version 0.44.1? Just wondering why it's not 0.45.0, thanks..
edit: It appears on a fresh deb install it is 0.45.1 anyway..
