Reaper on Wayland

Post by cuthbertdavies »

Hello!

Is anyone of you using Reaper on Wayland without issues? I just recently switched over to Wayland from X11 (untangled the last issues I had with it), and am quite happy with it thus far. But I just tried running Reaper for the first time, and the drop down menu's seems to be misbehaving. They disappear randomly and seems to be clicking for themselves at times.

Just me or?

I only use Reaper occasionally these days but I haven't noticed any issues like this with Wayland. It does sound like a typical Wayland problem though.

I've been running Reaper with Wayland for a while now. No problems so far.

I have encountered occasional loading errors when running Reaper with Wayland. But after updating the device's system, I didn't have any more problems and it's been stable until now. Is it possible that your problem isn't due to Reaper or Wayland? Try checking your connected device. Hope it helps.

In sway we have this problem and have written an issue.
It is still plaguing me and I would be happy to see it resolved.
