At some point there will be an upgrade, IK are sale-aholics un-annonymous 
This has a nice easy to use interface, but will likely require a Reaper, a recent wine-staging,wineasio for standalone versions,
Yabridge to wrap pluginsand then
an IK account, and installing their Product Manager. I've dealt with them for many years,
not perfect, getting better in some cases, with an odd blurry gui componant sometimes.
MixBox may be their most useful product, some ampsim, some studio effects, some mastering effects.
Free, not counting valuable free time exploring their eco-system. Many of their products have
free versions, with their Custom Shop allowing testing each ala-carte item for a couple days
each year.
