Hi everyone,

I am very glad to join linuxmusicians forums. I am French but I live in Bristol, UK, a city with quite a lot of underground life and musical activities for all tastes.
I love to share and help, I am an experienced linux user and I hope I will be able to help others if I can. I am back to doing musical exepriments after a long hiatus. For now I will use old gear, a 10y-old PC, firewire interfaces (Focusrite and TC Electronic) and a basic USB midi keyboard. Maybe one day I will feel like hardware is limiting my creativity, but I don't think this will be tomorrow :-)
Cheers all and looking forward to exchanging/contributing to this lovely space.

A (slightly late) welcome from me too :)

Well, my 10yo machine not only manages music creation pretty well, but it's also the one I use when doing work on 'that' synth. Part of my reasoning is that if I have no problems there, it should be fine on any other
Having said that the one I do serious music work on is a 5yo AMD machine.
