Testing more, problem relates to plugins loaded to Bitwig. But it seems to be pretty wide range of plugins, some native and some running with wine. And those same plugins worked ok in old system.

Same plugins running alone in carla-single work ok. And also making identical project in Harrison Mixbus works. Reported findings to Bitwig, will see if they have something relevant to say.

So the problem might be the version of Bitwig you're running? What version do you have now and what version didn't give you these problems?

AFAIK Bitwig is very professional, Linux native, software. Strange that it should give you these troubles...

Some discussions with Bitwig support, and found out that setting plugins 'with bitwig' works. Why it did not work before was that some of the plugins I had selected 'run separately' on previous computer. There that fixed some problem, here caused.

But now question is 'why plugins as separate process' causes problem? Possibly some problems with scheduler, but what causes them, and how to fix?

Tried setting SCHED_FIFO for bitwig audio process and all its child when running plugins separately. Helped but did not fix the problem. SCHED_DEADLINE is not supported with liquorix kernel?

AFAIK, running plugins in a different process may help to avoid host crash but performances are a bit worst duet to context switch.
