Although we are in the middle of production, Rüdgott of honeysuckers gave his ok to share the current state:

Currently, we are in the state of mixing this song, so there are a lot of parts to be fixed.

Missed

I met a man, not so long ago
He didn't look well, so i asked him to show
What was wrong, what preyed on his mind
He looked at me with sorrow and resigned
he said

He walked on water, he swam in sand
Just for a little time to hold her hand
Flyed through the ocean, dived into the air
To catch that moment, in which he dared
To tell her 'bout his feelings, to tell her, how he longed
For being at her side, and this feeling grew so strong
But the moment had passed, like the other ones before
And the ocean he liked to fly through
was just a dry shore..

I met a woman, not so long ago
She didn't look well, so i asked her to show
What was wrong, what preyed on her mind
She looked at me with sorrow and resigned
she said

She walked on water, she swam in sand
Just for a little time to hold his hand
Flyed through the ocean, dived into the air
To catch that moment, in which she dared
To tell him 'bout her feelings, to tell him, how she longed
For being at his side, and this feeling grew so strong
But the moment had passed, like the other ones before
And the ocean she liked to fly through
was just a dry shore..

When we met the first time, not so long ago,
I felt rather quickly, you might be the one to go
With, through fire and ice, through desert and snow
Through joy, through luck, through happiness, with hearts that shine and glow
but i missed...

I'd walk on water, i'd swim in sand
Just for a little time to hold your hand
Fly through the ocean, dive into the air
To catch that moment, in which i dare
To tell you 'bout my feelings, to tell you, how i long
For being at your side, and this feeling's growing strong
But the moment has passed, like the other ones before
And the ocean i'd like to fly through,
is just a dry shore..

That never-ending do-doinking (bass?)guitar sound gets on my nerves real quick. Lose that, instant hit!

A very atmospheric brooding tune! The individual sounds are quite well recorded and mixed! Could see this in a TV show or movie soundtrack..

Thank you for listening and your comments. There are still a few things to do, like having a decent ending, and, from the mixing side, matching the instruments volumes better (that's not so easy, because the increasing volumes of the instruments are not the same over the whole song - so it must be mixed from end to the beginning). Maybe the guitar at the beginning gets more space. I will upload it again, when we are finished.

The lyrics are wonderful, and universal, and would suit many genres. I shudder to think of the sales that could acrue
if someone like Tailor Sweft had a few hours alone with them in her acoustic guitar studio.

It's important to match the instruments and sound to the message. I personally don't think that your music
matches the lyric, but as I mentioned, the potential among other formats seems huge to me.

+AND_ I am not in your shoes, your situation, and I'm old, so a great many younger people might love what you are doing.
I do agree with Imposter, that simply having a melodic bassline that was supportive and not dominant, would be a very good thing.
You are also wise to seek feedback during production!
Cheers

Thank you, @glowrak guy . Wow, Taylor Swift, that are really big shoes, even considered this as not a real option... The lyrics came out of a situation and were done in a few days.
