Hi all,
And on I venture into the whacky woods of electronic music.
As most (that know me) know, I use QTractor.
I'd like to use the gate technique like in this ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxyQNgNKUf8&t=407s ) video.
Any ideas?
Thanks (yet again) for meditating with me...
Love
Melissa

You might use Calf Sidechain Gate or LSP Gate Stereo in a 4 channel bus. Then route your tracks with INSERT SENDS in the tracks to the desired inputs (input or sidechain) of the 4 channel bus.
The output of the tracks should be routed to an audio bus that has its output unconnected because you don't want to hear their unprocessed signal. You want only the processed signal that gets to the 4 channel audio bus with the Gate plugin. Don't forget to connect its output to the Master bus.
