Hi there, don't know if this is the right section.
I'm working on a track and - unfortunately - I still couldn't manage to get my bass guitar at my studio...
So I was wondering if some of you could advise me how to get some "good sounding" bass lines inside my track, without actually having a bass to play
I was thinking to use some bass guitar soundfont, but the ones I tried so far sounded "plastic" and almost without "dynamic"... Just like guitar soundfonts anyway.
Maybe you could recommend me some good soundfont or something better to use?
I'm also looking for a good Drum Machine to get drums in the track. So far I tried Hydrogen, but it felt a little bit "weird" at times... I think it might have something to do with its samples or with its feature which make every instrument sound different every time it is played (I think it has more than one sample per instrument and just rotates over the whole set). Idk, sometimes it feels a little bit "unnatural" to me, maybe is the way samples sound... Feel free to criticize and advice me how to work better with it
I also checked LMMS' drum machine and was pretty happy with it... But it just isn't compatible with Jack synchronization. Plus I'm not sure I can find many samples to use with it, or where can I find them...
Maybe you could recommend me a good Drum Machine to check as well?
Thanks in advance to you all
