Linux longevity: Some projects from 2008 still alive!

StudioDave wrote these magazine articles in 2008, and it's interesting to read through, and recognize
that many projects are still progressing, and others may be worthy of a 2024 'summer of code' modernization,
if not a more immediate personal effort. Where be we without the coders? DOA in win 11
