Hey All,
I've been using Linux for 10 years now, both professionally as a software developer and as a hobbyist/bedroom guitarist!
Really like this site. Lots of good stuff in here and I hope to start contributing soon.
Right now I'm using Ubuntu. I was a Fedora fanboy for many years, but since using Ubuntu the past 2 years, I have not looked back.
Software I'm familiar with and which I use on a daily basis include jackd, Ardour, Rosegarden, zynaddsubfx, tuxguitar, hydrogen.
I've got a Ibanez JEM series guitar, a POD XT, Marshall DFX30 Amp, BOSS MT-2 pedal, M-Audio Audiophile sound interface and M-Audio desktop monitors.
I'm definitely a guitar guy, but hope to start making some good music soon using only Linux!
