I would report immediately. How could I know when is holiday time for someone else. My summer vacation is over, back to work now. And another thing is that maintainer might be off from daywork, having more time for hobby-coding.

If it is about security or about life and death, of course, I would say something, but when some musicians software is not running stable, I ve decided for myself it can wait.
But I knew, that my opinion might be not the mainstream opinion here, thats why I asked to be sure that I might be wrong...something like that...sigh
Thats a thing not every one experienced. Things can heal over time, like bugs and so...so would not be the first time I am working around.
But I think that devs themselves are (or, should be) perfectly capable of ignoring bug reports during their vacations if they choose to do so.
