Beijing Beat with LMMS

Post by Louigi Verona »

A bit of euro dance this time. Started the tune back in January, when I was in Beijing, decided to complete it today. The ending is a bit weird, but I really enjoyed dragging the tune into a sort of groovy mood, closer to a house tune that is a remix on the main theme that was just playing.

Made with the magnificent LMMS 0.4.6

It does if you put high enough latency (like 7000). And latency is not noticed. But when it works with JACK you have to save often since it may crash unexpectedly. Today while I was finishing this tune it crashed on me a couple of times in around 1,5 hours. I think it was kicked out by JACK.

But I used JACK because I needed to use gtkRecordMyDesktop - I don't know of any other way to record LMMS. Usually I use it with PulseAudio - very stable although when you choose the option it says "bad latency". Works fine for me, while ALSA option makes LMMS crash sometimes.
