Celtic percussion loops

Post by finotti »

I have a friend that is looking for some Celtic percussion loops. Does anyone have recommendations on where to find these, or simply good percussion loops in general?

I have some bodhran loops I recorded for a sample library. I can share some if they would be suitable?

Many percussion loops here, but I dont know if these are celtic,
I have no idea, thats why I am asking: what is the special character of celtic loops?
Are there some special rhythms?

Celtic music uses Celtic (Irish and Scottish mostly) instruments. There are also certain rhythms such as jigs and reels that are traditionally Celtic.

Sorry for the delay in replying... I forgot to subscribe. (I am used to it being automatic when you create a topic...)

That would be great! Feel free to send me a PM if you don't want to share with all. I will have to pass it along to my friend, to see if it fits his needs.

Have you checked out WikiLoops?

I will pass it along. I did not know about it. Thanks for the tip!

Here you go. You can ignore the note names in the file names, they were just used for mapping them to a sampler's keyboard, they don't mean anything in relation to the actual audio.
