Quantum | Slow & Dark DnB

Post by JosSamLoh »

Used blender & GIMP to make the art for this one, very fun, gotta use blender more.

Spent an entire night hyper-focused on this instead of getting sleep, who needs sleep anyway?

Hope you enjoy as always~!

Very good intro. Then the beat: nice, and fits well. But I find 6 minutes too long. I think this would work much better as a three minute track.

I also like it. The intro is great. When the beat sets in it sounds unexpected and not like typical DnB. What did you use to make it? Mix is pretty good too!

It's clear that you have a pretty good ear when it comes to the spectrum. I feel like the track could have more direction (more melody) but more than criticism, take it as a compliment because I think you have huge potential, keep at it :D

Thank you, I used Ardour as my DAW, and Hive 2 as the synth, + Calf Plugin Pack.

Thank you too, and absolutely, I've definitely found myself stagnating with my melodies, I think my newest release does a bit better at it, but I'm gonna need to actually sit down and learn more theory, I am lacking in that department currently :D.
