This one is a straight ahead rocker recorded in Ardour. The plugins are pretty basic. A lot of A-Compressor and X42-Eq. There is a Calf Saturator on the master, Harrison XT De-Esser on the vocals, A-Delay on the slide guitar and Tap Reverberator on the reverb bus.

Hah, my 'inner producer' is wanting to stick his fingers into this mix in a thousand places, micro-edit here, fatten there, perhaps pitch shift a few cents here and there, try other drum samples - but my inner producer always wants to do that
, and the truth is, I'm pretty happy listening to this, I'm liking the sounds, I'm liking the playing, I'm liking how it's not depending on FX any more than necessary, and in this production heavy age, I'm pretty glad that someone is trying their hand at a craft oriented musical idiom like southern rock (at least in my personal world of associations), and coming up with a convincing result.
Thumbs up

Wow, your guitar work was really good! And I think your wife sings this genre really well.
