I installed 'new' laptop, and when launching F-em there, I get only empty window. Or not actually empty, but clitchy empty, so that when switching desktops, window shows what was on that position on other desktop. On my desktop it works ok, and both running same OS version (Devuan). So maybe some thing about display adapter/driver/etc? Laptop has Intel Corporation Skylake GT2 [HD Graphics 520] (rev 07)

Re: Traction F-em plugin window empty
Ok, and my bet was 'I install windows plugin and it will work'. Nope, on that mouse did not work, could not login for authorization. Asked help from Tracktion, will see if they can help

Looks like even that is not fixing the problem.

Re: Traction F-em plugin window empty
Looks like problem is present in latest version (1.1.6), but older version works. Found out when updating plugin version on my desktop computer. Luckily had older version in backups!
In addition, only vst2 version works, vst3 dies in seg fault.

Latest problem with F-em: with Bitwig got total freeze of whole computer (not even answering ping!) 3 times. Sandboxing F-em seemed to resolve problem.

Re: Traction F-em plugin window empty
Not only segmentation fault with F-em vst3, also with Collective vst3.

Re: Traction F-em plugin window empty
I have had issues with F'em, Collective and Biotek VST3's where they became memory hogs causing the system to ramp up to max. I can also remember in the past where these three synths were not recognized by any hosts. In which case I just used the VST2.
If not mistaken, things are OK now on Debian 12.1 using Pipewire and a Liquorix kernel. However, I would like to test things out again and I will come back with a clearer answer and more details.

Re: Traction F-em plugin problems
I changed thread name because here is many different problems.
I use vst2 version, vst3 does not work at all. Not sure about collective.

Yeah, and there is levels of instability. In my case now, I needed to reboot whole computer. That in real show stopper.
