[edit] some works in progress...

Post by cabsi »

Hey all - this year marks 10 years since I recorded my first song. I switched to Linux (DAW wise) in 2018.

The well has been a bit dry the past couple of years but the past couple of months have been (relatively) more productive.

Would like some feedback on my recent (or no so recent) stuff. I use SoundCloud as a scratch pad and post finished things to Bandcamp.

Reply with a link to something of yours and I'll duly reciprocate (eventually)!

Just bumping this, since I added a couple more in progress tunes.

What I'd like some advice on is vocal delivery, capture and mixing. The song "Shake" has vocal tracks that cross each other and the words become non-decipherable. I've tried hard L/R panning which helped a bit but I'm lost as for what else I can do.
