I use AVlinux 2, and I have managed to build zynaddsubfx 2.40 just fine. Compiling the latest git-version is not so easy however. What I do is:
git clone git://zynaddsubfx.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/zynaddsubfx/zynaddsubfx zynaddsubfx
Then I follow the instructions found here:
http://zynaddsubfx.git.sourceforge.net/ ... 254ce07df1
Only that I can't get the "ccmake" command to work. Instead, I set audio to JACK in the CMakeLists.txt file.
make -> I get an error complaining about portaudio, if I remember correctly.
Has anyone else been able to compile it?
Compiling latest zynaddsubfx
What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?
