Following a suggestion in another topic using LSP PEQ for room correction, I tried it in headless mode with -hl option and have found it uses 25% of total CPU or nearly 100% of one core on 4 core i5 6500. Standard mode with GUI minimised uses 1% or less. Before I open an issue on Github, is anyone else using it headless and do you have similar issue?
pidstat output - Headless:
Code: Select all
# Time UID PID %usr %system %guest %wait %CPU CPU minflt/s majflt/s VSZ RSS %MEM threads fd-nr Command
17:07:51 1000 3062400 99.20 0.00 0.00 0.80 99.20 1 0.00 0.00 203180 118292 0.72 4 17 lsp-plugins-par
With GUI:
Code: Select all
# Time UID PID %usr %system %guest %wait %CPU CPU minflt/s majflt/s VSZ RSS %MEM threads fd-nr Command
17:03:14 1000 3007383 0.60 0.20 0.00 0.00 0.80 1 0.00 0.00 287764 185788 1.14 4 18 lsp-plugins-par
Note this is on Debian Bullseye with PA > JACK > ALSA, not Pipewire.
