I don't think your list of Linux " pro audio" applications should lack:

MusE: midi sequencer/DAW
Pianoteq: "digital physically modeled piano's and related instruments" (wiki quote)
Hydrogen: drum sequencer

EQ10Q, I'm glad you mentioned that because I've been meaning to ask the question here for a while, is that still active? I used to love using it but when I have not seen an update in years, I stopped using it and fear that one day after an update of my system, that would stop working. So maybe we should figure that out before it gets posted on that website don't you think?

I will check to see if there's anyone I can contact there to find out. I could be wrong but I'm just thinking that do we want to put up links where no activity has taken place in years?

Actually the last update was done in 2016. I don't see a way of contacting the dev either.

I don't think it is maintained anymore, but the binaries still work per a recent install I completed. It appears to me the dev essentially considered the project finished after the latest release. I saw on the Ardour forums there is a patch needed to build the plugins from source with recent kernels, and it was forked on GitHub by someone who provides that fix, but the official binaries seem to be unaffected.

That's good to know. I wonder if somebody will pick it up and continue on like maybe LSP. Added to their list of awesome plugins.

Nice and simple.

What is the license of the source? Is it ok to fork it for some similar project?

Don't have a clue. The dev used to be on Ardour's forum a few years ago. Maybe still there as I haven't been on there for some tie now!

@Kott, @funkmuscle :

I just downloaded the source tarball from the EQ10Q sourceforge page, and the COPYING file contains the GPLv3 licence.

Hehe, I totally forgot about that.
Let's just make it MIT, I don't really care, this is just for fun project.
If you wanna play with the source, be my guest, and if you wonder about something, just open an issue :)

Thank you so much, OP!

I'm new to the linux production scene and your aggregator saved me a ton of time!

yabridgectl is magic, but native is just easier sometimes. Thanks again!
