[SOLVED] AV Linux MX-21 Edition install stuck at 94%

Hi all! I'm trying to install AV Linux MX-21 Edition and the installation is getting stuck at 94%.

Before I started I did use the sha256 tool to validate integrity of media before copying it to a USB thumb drive.

Installation seemed to go ok, except it now seems stuck. The installer says "setting system configuration -- 94%", and its been like this for at least 30 minutes.

The main panel has a section titled Special Thanks, signed the "MX Dev Team".

Next to the progress bar is an active "Abort" button I'd rather not press. This is the second time thru the install for me, and the second time I'm stuck in the same way.

At the bottom, I have close back and next buttons, but only the close button appears to be active. I'm almost certain the back and next buttons are disabled.

Can anyone advise? Maybe a log file I can learn more from? Anything?

Thank you

Do you have it directly connected to the computer or via an USB hub? I installed MXLinux yesterday and it only took 2 minutes or so.
There's also a MD5 check when you boot AVlinux that you can activate under the Advance menu.

Maybe try a different USB port or even an USB 2.0 port if you still have one.

before copying it to a USB thumb drive.

How did you do that?

Oops -- it seems I am now ok.

Install finally finished after another 20 minutes. I can now boot into the new hard drive install.

Everything seems A-OK now.

At 94% the installer pauses because user input is required (see Login info tab)
Click 'Next' and provide computer name / user name / password.
