Ninety Miles An Hour (Down A Dead End Street)

Post by Philotomy »

It's not 100% clear to me if it's appropriate to share covers in this space. It's not an original song, but it's an original recording (i.e. by me) of my own arrangement. (If it's a problem, please let me know and I'll remove it.)

The song was written by Don Robertson and Hal Blair, and was made popular by Hank Snow, who released his version in 1963.

My version of the song sounds very different from Hank Snow's original.

Oh this is very beautiful, and the sound is so "close". I really like the song and the recording, a kind of live rawness with a lot of ambience. Your voice is perfect for this.

Very nice, thanks for sharing!

And people post covers here all the time, a cover is a kind of tribute. :)

MusE DAW running on Debian 11 Testing/XFCE4.
