I installed a low latency kernel on a laptop running Mint and I’m trying to configure it for Jack audio.
The problem is that Jack doesn’t recognize the audio interface.
In QjackCtl the ALSA tab recognizes the interface but it’s not present in the Audio tab
In qjackctl/setup I selected the interface in the input and output and I set the channel to 1 which is the channel identified by Alsa Mixer F6.
The command
aplay -l
shows that the kernel recognises the audio interface.
The PC is an old Toshiba Tecra 15.4”
The OS is: Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon 64-bit
I installed this kernel from synaptic: -
package
linux-buildinfo-5.11.0-22-lowlat
latest version
5.11.0-22.2320.04.
Description
Linux kernel buildinfo for version 5.11.0 on 64 bit x86 S
Has anyone got any suggestions?
