Hi all,
i updated from Ardour 5.something to Ardour 6.9. Now i'm facing the following problem:
Ardour does no more sync to an external Midi Timecode. When firing up MidiTracer, it shows an incoming timecode via MMC in, but not via MTC in (of course, i routed incoming Midi to those ports ). No matter, if i'm working on a session created in 5.x or if a session is created in 6.9. I didn't try to make Ardour syncmaster, that would be a rather big effort concerning the rest of my setup (e.g. automation in desks).
Does anyone has a hint, or solution?

I've had similar issues in the past. Could you please try Ardour 7.1?

Re: Ardour6.9 MTC slave
I upgraded to 7.1: it synced, but very stuttering. Unusable. On that Hardware, there ran an installation of Slackware for almost 20 years. That installation saw many different hardwares, tweaks and interfaces. I replaced it now with a fresh Manjaroinstall, which works well.
What problems did you face?
