Re: Just a short tune
Compared to this tune, your previous one is indeed very dark and oppressive :)

Re: Just a short tune
Beautiful! With a kind of playful feeling, maybe it is the woodwind/organic-sounding sounds?

Re: Just a short tune
Mostly I do like to keep the sounds I use - and indeed my playing - as natural sounding as possible. This is my usual combination of Rosegarden + Yoshimi.

Re: Just a short tune
Ah, the wise one speaks again. There is such a calm balance. Far too happy. Though being happy right now, I am much more comfortable with it.
As always: an excellent ensemble of sounds.

Re: Just a short tune
Nice soundtrack-like sound. It almost does not feel like synth music, which given what you said about wanting to sound natural, perhaps means your mission was accomplished! ![]()
The only sound I did not like is the white noise. I think it was right to put it into the arrangement (it works like crash cymbals, right?) but it felt more synthetic than the other sounds.

Re: Just a short tune
Thanks.
The sound is part of one of the 'Choir' tracks, and gives it a sort of breathyness. It's difficult to balance as it very dependent on the audio system it's played on (and the listener's ears!)
