Thanks both of you. There seems to be an element of Yin-Yang in my music - even at it's darkest, there is always some light

@folderol I find this dark, actually but yes, there is some light. And what's wrong with it? Pure darkness would be hopeless and uninteresting. The interesting thing is how a dim light can shine in the dark. And you made it shine!

That's one of the reasons I love Yoshimi: there's some great sounds in there, and you've used them to great effect! I liked your layering of different parts, especially in the first couple of minutes, with the two ostinatos and the improvisation on top. I agree with others that, especially towards the end of the track, there's quite some light in all that dark, so I guess we can consider it an uplifting one despite the oppression
