100% Yoshimi... As usual

Nice piece! Sounds more 'ethereal' than 'oppressive' to me though!

Hi @folderol , I very much enjoy your darker side, I'm sure this comes as no surprise. :) As usual beautiful sounds. You make them flow so well.

Thanks both of you. There seems to be an element of Yin-Yang in my music - even at it's darkest, there is always some light :)

@folderol I find this dark, actually but yes, there is some light. And what's wrong with it? :D Pure darkness would be hopeless and uninteresting. The interesting thing is how a dim light can shine in the dark. And you made it shine! :D

That's one of the reasons I love Yoshimi: there's some great sounds in there, and you've used them to great effect! I liked your layering of different parts, especially in the first couple of minutes, with the two ostinatos and the improvisation on top. I agree with others that, especially towards the end of the track, there's quite some light in all that dark, so I guess we can consider it an uplifting one despite the oppression :D

I'm afraid I'm an incurable optimist, so it tends to show in my music
